mindful, focused and professional colleagues to join our
collaborative team. This role is for a person seeking to expand
their opportunities through steadily increasing knowledge and
responsibilities as they become an integral person in the
conceptual design and development of our many mixed-use, retail,
multi-family, and general commercial projects. You will work
closely with Principals and Associates in developing elegant
building solutions to our many planning and design projects. Your
initiative, advanced technical abilities, and collaborative
attitude will be integral in the successful delivery of some of the
firm's more challenging projects.Your Key Responsibilities
- With guidance from the Principal and/or Associate, you will
rapidly create multiple design studies for explorations of proper
building massing and fa--ades.
- You will develop selected studies into detailed SketchUp or
Revit models with material assignments for use in client
presentations and deliverables.
- With guidance from the Principal, Associate, and/or Project
Manager, you will leverage your design research skills to develop
constructable building details and document those details in
accordance with firm standards.
- Produce photorealistic renderings using firm supplied rendering
tools.
- Produce building documentation plans at concept-to-construction
document level detail in accordance with firm standards.
- Actively participate in client and design team meetings, taking
notes and receiving guidance to inform the projects' next
steps.
- Coordinate with the internal design team, Landscape Architects,
and Civil Engineers in the development of design solutions.
- Coordinate with design consultants and internal team members to
resolve technical and existing condition challenges to produce
efficient, constructible solutions.Your Qualifications
- Have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an
accredited school.
- Have more than 1 year of related professional architectural
experience, including demonstrated success in the development of
building designs for mixed-use, commercial, retail and/or
residential projects.
- Required to be highly proficient in Autodesk Revit and
SketchUp.
- Required proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite products
Photoshop and InDesign.
- Experience with Autodesk AutoCad is preferred.
- Required rendering experience in Enscape, Lumion, D5 Render or
similar program.
- Proven ability to learn new software tools quickly and
effectively use resources for project development.
- Be a person of great initiative and have a thirst for learning
and improvement.This is not a hybrid or remote work role. The
position is located at Metro Center in Washington, DC.Please submit

Visa.The base salary for this position is between $60,000 - $85,000
plus bonuses and benefits and is dependent on relevant
