The successful candidate will thrive off working in a challenging and busy environment, always keeping the candidate and the manager at the central point in all they do to deliver high quality, diverse hires in to the BBC across Public Services.The Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor will be a trusted partner working in partnership with hiring managers, providing a high quality, expert consultative service to the business. Recruiting roles in accordance with the Inclusive Recruitment Strategy, processes and procedures aligned to the BBC People Plan and business strategy to deliver world-class and diverse employees with the right capability in the right jobs at the right time.Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will deliver a wide variety of recruitment for bands A-F, within International News. The role will expect you to work independently to deliver assigned requisitions but also collaboratively as part of a wider team to manage more complex inclusive Talent Acquisition projects, as well as answering policy/process requests where required. You will report into the Talent Acquisition Team Lead based in the UK. Where necessary you will also be required to work with Senior Talent Acquisition Business Partners and the wider TA team, from Sourcing to Onboarding to ensure BBC-wide opportunities are realised and value created.Additionally you will be required to:

  • Deliver an exemplary end to end resourcing service for permanent and FTC hiring from role kick-off, screening and scheduling to closing and onboarding candidates.
  • Work proactively with internal stakeholders to ensure a connected approach, balancing the need to improve the employee experience with commercial reality.
  • Ensure inclusive recruitment processes and practices are followed.
  • Work closely with Sourcing in an integrated way to drive continuous improvement and process ownership across recruitment and sourcing ensuring a seamless candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Build relationships with and act as the specialist point of contact for recruitment Bands A-F.
  • Manage any queries from hiring managers or candidates relating to quality of service.
  • Provide clear, timely responses.
  • Responsible for escalating issues and queries as deemed necessary and in the appropriate manner.
  • Ensure delivery against service level agreements and KPIs to enhance the reputation of the BBC Talent Acquisition function through excellent service and professionalism.
