We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Capture Manager for a specialist division within M&C Saatchi Group. This division partners with governments, civil society, foundations, academia, and the private sector, to work on the critical issues of our time, including the climate emergency, national security, social justice, conflict prevention, and sustainable development. We provide a fully integrated, end to end service, combining multi-discipline communications teams with subject matter experts, across the world. Our work is domestic and global, often affecting the most vulnerable in society, with international activity orientated towards conflict affected or developing countries.This is a hybrid role; however, the ideal candidate will live in the greater District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region.ABOUT THE ROLEThe Capture Manager will lead federal pursuits for the National Security sector. You will lead all activities from opportunity identification through proposal submission in collaboration with the Senior Vice President for Growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in capture management and a proven ability to win federal contracts.Responsibilities:

• Lead the capture process for assigned opportunities, including developing capture plans, strategies, and win themes. Conduct a thorough analysis of customer needs, competitive landscape, and potential partners.
• Collaborate with delivery managers, technical subject matter experts, budget experts, and other WSUS staff to develop quality solutions and value propositions for clients.
• Lead meetings and reviews with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the capture process.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key government officials, industry partners, and stakeholders.
• Prepare and present capture status updates and briefings to senior leadership.
• Manage the development of proposal content, including writing, editing, and ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements.
• Oversee the transition from capture to proposal development to ensure continuity and alignment.ABOUT YOUWe believe that people are capable of great things when given a chance.   • Five (5) years of experience in federal contract capture management, proposal management, or in US Government federal procurement.
  • Strong understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations, the federal sales lifecycle, and government procurement processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful capture strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and capture management tools.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data from USASpending.gov and Sam.gov.
  • Independent, resourceful, proactive, and customer-focused with results orientation.
  • Proactive and strategic mindset with an ability to anticipate the next steps in pursuit of a broader vision.
  • Execute independently, and escalate when appropriate, while being responsive to stakeholders' needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver messages to both executive and external audiences.
  • Willingness to handle many complex tasks and deadline pressure while maintaining a high attention to detail and quality.Education and Certifications
    • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, public policy, or a related field.
    • Project management training and certification (ex: PMP)
    • Business development and capture management certification (ex: APMP, Shipley & Associates)WHAT WE OFFERM&C Saatchi Group offers a competitive benefits package including: 25 vacation days, 401k match, annual pay reviews, flexible working, and WFH opportunities. Salary is dependent on experience but ranges from: $100,000-$130,000.
