Key responsibilities include building new procedures, completing complex non-routine analytics, creating reports, and reviewing exception testing and processing. Job expectations include supporting continuous improvement of processes by identifying trends and understanding the operations environment.LOB Job Description:An entry level position in a multi-skilled environment performing processes for the capture and data perfection of various checks within the Bank by Mail and Savings Bond team within Check Operations. The position requires an individual who is production and quality focused and who is capable of working in a high volume and demanding continuous production environment. Responsibilities include numeric data entry, reviewing and processing transactions for posting, remittance, and performing other support operations functions as required. Associates will be fully trained and aware of Operational Control Risk and will be expected to routinely fully comply and exhibit behaviors consistent with Risk Mitigation. The individual must be a self-starter, able to be cross trained on multiple processes, a team player, organized, and results oriented with exceptional work habits. Flexibility in work schedule, and decision-making ability are also required. Position requires compliance with all Department policies and safety regulations.Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pmResponsibilities:

  • Implementation of new procedures and processes within the operational structure.
  • Utilization of Microsoft office products to update, create, and modify procedures, job aides and forms as needed.
  • Analyze end to end operations and resolution of complex problems.
  • Train and facilitate new processes to teammates within the business unit, including new hires and cross trained associates.
  • Conduct refresher training sessions to support associates in remaining optimal in their job function.
  • Maintain organization of daily tasks, activities, and duties while effectively multitasking and remaining efficient and effective.
  • Manage team workflow while providing guidance and inaction coaching.
  • Encourage an inclusive learning environment for all associates to be able to self-identify the proper tools needed to make informed and risk-based decisions.
  • Facilitation of various training processes, meetings, and information sessions.
  • Partner with cross function LOBs to streamline processes and coordinate appropriate functionality.
  • Subject matter expert within the Bank by Mail department.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day resolution of complex problems and the execution of research.
  • Participate and initiate meetings with business partners for projects and LOB changes.Required Qualifications:
    • 2+ years operations experience.
    • Team player with ability to multitask.
