together.Role description:Arcadis is seeking a talented Project
Architect with Project Management capabilities to join our
Corporate Workplace Practice Group in the Washington, DC office.
This position collaborates with a diverse and creative team,
dedicated to excellence in design, delivery, and innovative problem
solving. The successful candidate would manage all aspects of a
project, from programming and conceptualization to construction
administration and closeout for our workplace interiors practice
group. This position may require ability to travel and work from

work/life balance.Role accountabilities:
- Coordinates project design, documentation, and management with
both internal and external stakeholders.
- Manages project team in execution of design through
documentation. Organizes process, internal and external
deliverables, and leads documentation support team. Ensures best
practices, standards, and design intent are met in issued
documentation. Assembles contract document sets for delivery to
permitting offices, general contractors, clients, etc.
- Ensures code compliance and maintains awareness of current
developments. Researches and implements code and permitting
requirements for projects located throughout the US.
- Presents Construction Documents to Clients at page turn
deliverables.
- Primary contact during construction, attending construction
meetings and site visits, preparing field reports, reviewing and
processing submittals, shop drawings, substitution requests, and
addressing RFIs.
- Achieves project success as measured by client and team
satisfaction while achieving financial goals.
- Provides leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
- Contributes to business development by establishing confidence
with clients, actively encourages and seeks opportunities for
follow up business for each project and assists in the development
and participates in interviews for potential projects.
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while
leading a team to complete each task ensuring to align each step to
client standards.
- Resolves design and technical issues within the project scope
and escalates as needed to ensure project objectives are
met.Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related
design field.
- 10+ years of related experience in corporate interiors.
- Licensed or pursuing licensure.
- LEED and/or WELL accreditation preferred.
- Proficient in Revit is required with hands-on experience in a
workplace setting.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suites.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Project).
- Solid working knowledge of local building codes, including
experience with regulatory approval process/building plan check
review and permitting.
- Ability to prioritize and concurrently execute multiple
projects at various phases of design and delivery.
- Strong leadership, organizational, written/verbal
communication, and relationship-management skills.
- Effective problem solving and interpersonal skills and ability
to interface with all clients and employees.
- Ability to direct others to assemble technical documents.
- Ability to align the needs of projects with corporate
goals.
- Submit CD work samples and portfolio with application.
- Nice to have existing relationships with project managers and
brokers in DC & VA market.
- Nice to have existing experience with national and/or global

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000. Actual
salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as
experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and
location.
