SummaryThe Sr. Analyst, Sustainability will collaborate in the
creation and implementation of global sustainability guidelines in
alignment with the client's ambitious sustainability goals. The Sr.
Analyst will support a cross-functional team to implement and
report on various food program sustainability initiatives. This
highly visible role will report to the VP of Business Strategy,
with a dotted line to the global sustainability team.This role will
maximize industry knowledge, client priorities, and company
resources to develop an implementation roadmap that influences
people and the planet through sustainability efforts.Job
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on a comprehensive global food and beverage
sustainability strategy in alignment with the client's goals. This
includes program scoping and timelines, prioritization, quality
control, client updates, day-to-day activities, and influencing the
project team indirectly.
- Operationalize and implement various sustainability initiatives
in North America in alignment with the comprehensive strategy
collaborating with food program operations, culinary, project
management, and finance colleagues.
- Interact expertly with a diverse group of associates, peers,
managers, suppliers, clients, and customers and adopt excellence in
customer service both for internal and external customers.
- Measure the impact of initiatives and oversee total strategy
impact including regular executive and client reporting.
- Coordinate with internal and external research, analytical, and
consulting teams to develop sustainability protocols.
- Conduct regular sustainability compliance evaluations,
including input and analysis of data.
- Regularly assess the progress of sustainable purchases,
programs, and efficiencies making regular updates to the client and
leadership.
- Achieve goals measured by critical metrics.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners.
- Other duties as assigned within the scope of responsibility.Job
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, nutrition, hospitality,
communications, or a related field preferred
- Desired 3-7 years of professional experience in sustainability,
project management, or hospitality industry operations
- Experience in sustainability strongly preferred, passion for
sustainability required
- Sophisticated written and oral communication skills including
public speaking
- Strong presentation and time management skills; strong
management and leadership skills, advanced problem-solving skills,
and outstanding interpersonal skills
- An ability to manage several complex priorities with deadlines
and an attention to detail
- Must be adaptable to change and thrive in a dynamic
environment
- Influence without authority with the ability to manage up and
across the organization
- Ability to travel up to 10%Preferred Skills
- Project Management or large-scale strategy deployment
- Culinary and/or food service experience
- Familiarity with core business data (SAP, P&L statements,
purchasing data)
- Intermediate experience with data resources (SQL, Tableau,
