Together, we achieve the goals that matter most by tailoring our approach to meet the specific needs of every organization we partner with.The Senior Financial Analyst will support our client in finance at a large non-profit organization, providing financial oversight for multiple business units. This individual will collaborate closely with senior management and non-finance colleagues to assist with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and strategic decision-making.This position is hybrid, requiring on-site work in Washington, DC, two times per week.Responsibilities:

  • Partner with SP&A divisions to analyze financial activities, explain variances from budget, maintain forecasts, and support informed business decisions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across departments to foster trust, accountability, and results.
  • Support the annual budget process, including preparation, consolidation, and financial reporting.
  • Develop tools and reporting capabilities to enhance financial understanding.
  • Analyze and improve business processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis and other related duties as assigned.Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA/CPA is a plus).
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A).
    • Non-profit experience or knowledge of restricted funding is required.
    • Proficiency in financial planning systems such as Workday Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, or Hyperion.
    • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other office programs.
    • Ability to communicate complex financial topics in an easy-to-understand manner.
    • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
