Blackburn, experience you can count on.About the roleAs a Data
Migration Lead at #TeamMB, you'll lead the data migration for our
case management platform implementation, ensuring a seamless
transition from legacy systems to innovative cloud applications
that will enhance our operations and shape the future of Maurice
Blackburn.What you'll do:
- Lead a dynamic team of data specialists and analysts to design,
execute, and validate end-to-end data migration.
- Tackle data quality challenges in legacy systems, define
cleansing strategies, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve
data integrity.
- Work closely with business and technical teams to understand
migration requirements and business processes.
- Manage the mapping of data between legacy and target systems,
ensuring transformation rules are documented and clear.
- Enhance and implement ETL strategies, collaborating with both
internal and external technical resources.
- Oversee data validation and reconciliation processes to ensure
accuracy and completeness.
- Guide the technical team through post-migration support and
ensure business acceptance criteria are met.
- Foster a collaborative, high-energy team culture and manage
interdependencies to keep the project on track.
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure smooth migration with
minimal business disruption.
- Report to stakeholders and the Steering Committee, ensuring
alignment with overall project timelines and goals.The experience
we're looking for:
- In-depth knowledge of data migration methodologies, ETL
processes, data governance, and Agile best practices.
- Extensive experience as a Project Manager or Senior
Business/Technical Analyst on digital transformation projects, with
a focus on large-scale data migration from legacy to cloud-based
systems.
- Proven ability to assess and improve poor-quality data,
ensuring seamless migration outcomes.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a
demonstrated ability to motivate teams to achieve project
goals.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making
skills, with meticulous attention to detail and a data-driven
approach.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills,
with the ability to effectively collaborate between technical and
business teams at all levels.
- Proactive, delivery-focused, and adept at managing timelines
and meeting project milestones.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or similar Agile
