Whether it's customer service, patrols, or surveillance, we need you to adapt with agility and precision.What's in it for you:

• Site Location: Washington, DC
• Set schedule: Part Time Monday-Friday with some rotating shift work and weekend required.

• Career growth opportunities at GardaWorldResponsibilities for Fire Life Safety Technician:
  • Assist the Fire Life Safety Manager in providing expertise, development of evacuation plans and drills.
  • Assist with the maintenance of Fire Prevention Plans and Emergency Plans for the client facilities.
  • Prepare safety training in proper building evacuation, fire safety, and response to suspected fire emergencies.
  • Perform weekly, monthly and quarterly inspections as required of Hazmat Response Equipment.
  • Respond and provide EMS coverage to client, vendors and visitors as needed.
  • Assist the Fire Life Safety Manager with Emergency Warden Training.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Fire Life Safety Manager.Qualifications for Fire Life Safety Technician:
    • Be authorized to work in the U.S.
    • Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED.
    • Must have Emergency Medical Technician Certification (State or National).
    • Must have Hazardous Materials Technician Certification (OSHA 29 CFR1910.120).
    • American Red Cross CPR/FA/AED Certification (Instructor preferred, not required).
    • Fire Instructor I (preferred, not required).
    • FEMA ICS Courses (preferred, not required).
    • Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process.
    • Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
    • Responsive and strong problem-solving skills.
    • If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience - even better!
