ResourcesWork Location: JundeeRoster: 8 days on, 6 days off. FIFO
ex PerthWhat you can look forward to:
- Dependent upon area of responsibility, tasks will be assigned
by the Senior or Alternate. These will relate to:
- Generating Resource and Grade Control Models.
- Report writing.
- QA/QC monitoring.
- Core logging.
- Project work.
- Deliver grade control and resource models with associated
documentation. This includes interpretation, development of geology
wireframes, ore body modelling, data management, estimation and
comprehensive documentation of the processes.
- Liaise with drilling geologists and Senior Geologist -
Operations to ensure drilling and mapping is planned and scheduled
in order to allow timely delivery of estimations to meet
operational and corporate reserve deadlines.
- Review project areas to identify resource extension
opportunities and additional resources, assist drilling geologists
with any additional drilling required.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with drill and blast
staff and mine planning engineers to ensure that models are
delivered to meet operational requirements.
- Interpret and validate the geology and assay value results to
guarantee integrity and reliability of the geological
database.
- Be a key member in the design and development of Standard
Operating Procedures for resource development activities. Ensure
accurate reporting of instructions, continuous improvement
initiatives and delivery of results are readily available to all
staff.
- Drive ongoing geological improvement by analysing existing
processes and implementing enhancements.To thrive in this role,
you'll need:Expertise and Accomplishments:
- A degree in Geology from a recognised tertiary
institution.
- Experience in resource modelling of a narrow vein style gold
deposit is highly desirable.
- Competency in the use of modelling, geostatistics and
estimation software (Datamine and Leapfrog).
- Proven competency in orebody interpretation, wireframing, and
modelling estimation methodologies.
- Good understanding of geostatistical and classical estimation
methods as well as reconciliation processes.Attributes:Success in
