Salary: Up to $196K

ALTA IT Services is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Senior Program Manager to manage a program that delivers cloud, cybersecurity, business analytics, program analytics, SharePoint, communications, and UI design support services. This role will be onsite at the client site in Washington D.C.

Responsibilities:
--- Responsible for the overall program success. Set priorities, develop work schedules, monitor, and report progress towards goals, and track details and activities.
--- Identify and define resources and schedule for project/program implementation. Ensure that staffing plan and team competencies meet mission detection, response, and support requirements.
--- Defines project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
--- Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
--- Works closely with all teams to identify and document issues, create action items, organize and conduct meetings, and resolve issues.
--- Responsible for managing the program's financials to include budget, forecast, profitability and provides weekly reporting.
--- Responsible for identifying and implementing continuous improvements, or enhancements to achieve cost savings, cost avoidance or improvements to meet customer and mission goals.

Basic Qualifications:
--- Minimum of 12+ years of IT experience; minimum of 5+ years of experience managing large programs with a minimum of 100 FTEs for the Federal government.
--- Must have two (2) years of experience managing teams located in different geographic locations.
--- Possess a PMP certification.
--- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline.
--- Possess a minimum of 5 years' experience managing programs requirements analysis, systems engineering/development, O&M, cloud, and research and evaluation for new or emerging technologies.
--- Possess minimum of 3 years' experience managing projects using Agile methods such as SAFe, Scrum and/or Kanban.
--- Minimum of 5 years' experience using Earned Value Management (EVM).
--- Microsoft Office experience, including Microsoft Project

Preferred Qualifications:
--- Possess an Agile practitioner certification
--- Jira Project Management experience.
--- Experience in implementing feedback, performing corrective actions and focus on continuous improvement to ensure program success.
