Project Management and Planning Operations Liaison to join our team
in Washington, DC! This position will offer the candidate
exceptional growth potential, opportunities for executive exposure
to SSP and Lockheed Martin, and cross collaboration with external
customers and stakeholders.In this role will offer you the
following daily key responsibilities:
- Act as a customer contact at SP for LM program activities.
- Gather information through listening and observation to analyze
overarching needs and translate into actions to deliver solutions
to customer concerns/challenges.
- Together with the Liaison Office Team, you will act as the
"voice of the customer" to facilitate effective communication
between LM FBM program and Navy SSP.
- Assist SSP in developing solutions to programmatic challenges
with limited complexity.
- Monitor the internal needs of the customer regarding budget,
financial reporting, and program needs.
- Assist in planning and support program reviews, executive
meetings, and technical information exchanges including the
development of presentation materials as required.
- Provide logistical support for Lockheed Martin Space employees
visiting customer headquarters.This position does not support
teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our
Lockheed Martin Space facility in: , and be expected to work in the
office.Basic Qualifications:To be effective, you will need to
possess these basic qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related
discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- 2+ years of professional experience.
- Must be able to work on-site full-time in the Washington D.C.
Navy Yard, embedded with the customer on a daily basis.
- You will need to be a US Citizen, and currently possess and be
able to maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, with ability to obtain
TOP SECRET to support this government contract, as well as
successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet
eligibility requirements for access to classified
information.Desired Skills:To be effective, ideally, you should
also have:
- Familiarity with the FBM program and customer organizational
structure.
- Willingness to grow in this position at this location, and grow
long lasting relationships with the customer.
- Ability to relate tactfully and professionally with customer
and leadership stakeholders at all levels.
- High energy level and flexibility to meet a wide variety of
strategic and tactical demands, while producing high quality work
products to meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to articulate programmatic issues and
effectively communicate with internal Lockheed Martin Space program
management.
- Active Top Secret Clearance.
- Demonstrated exceptional strategic communication skills, both
written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate
business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, and stakeholders,
as well as program executives, with an ability to persuade and

- Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated
with this position will be performed onsite at a designated
Lockheed Martin facility.
- Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate
work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our
employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day
work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules
provide employees with additional time away from the office and are
in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
- Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday offPay
Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California
and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado,
Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC
is $63,800 - $112,470. For states not referenced above, the salary
range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work
location. Please note that the salary information is a general
guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not
limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's
work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market
and business considerations when extending an offer.Benefits
offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term

Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off,
and Holidays.(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented
full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid
Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other
reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full
time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up
to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for
holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated
based on start date during the calendar year.This position is
