opportunities those changes create.Primary Function: The
Development Operations Managers will manage administrative and
operational development functions and projects to support New
America's fundraising and development team.Responsibilities:
- Manage Salesforce (SF) database. Update records, pull reports,
reconcile numbers and conduct additional research as needed to
complete/update records.
- Assist with individual donor solicitation groups--merge
letters, gather enclosures, assemble packets, etc.
- Work in coordination with the Executive Office to manage
planning and execution of all board meetings and board committee
meetings including but not limited to drafting and collecting
necessary documents and materials, and fundraising and financial
reports.
- Coordinate preparation for fundraising travel by front line
fundraisers, President, CEO and additional New America
leadership.
- Draft emails, letters and other communication to donors,
including but not limited to the donor acknowledgement
process.
- Work with the finance team to track incoming payments and
reconcile revenue records on a regular basis. Submit a weekly
report of incoming payments.
- Manage the Development team calendar and work with the Director
of Development on weekly team agendas and briefs.
- Provide logistical support for development events.
- Manage organization's 'Charitable Solicitation Registrations'
(CSR) and industry subscriptions.
- Other administrative tasks as required to ensure the team and
New America's success.Qualifications:
- Graduate of a college or university or possessing relevant
professional experience;
- Experience in fundraising, non-profit management, and/or
business administration in a public policy setting.
- Experience and interaction with C-Suite, executive and board of
directors preferred.
- Work or internship experience in an office setting or another
non-profit preferred.
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Office and Excel, Asana,
and Google Docs.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong time management skills.
- Experience monitoring and managing calendars and scheduling
meetings across departments and programs.
- Possess high integrity and an ability to interact
professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with donor and data maintenance platforms.
- S/he should be a self-starter with a positive attitude who can
proactively execute on critical functions and take on projects with
minimal supervision.
- Thrives as a team member in a fast-paced, high-energy
environment.
- Experience interacting with high-profile individuals.
- May need to work (some) evenings and weekends and be capable of
planning and managing independent travel.Compensation and Benefits:
This position is a full-time role with benefits. The annual salary
will be between $76,000.00 - $94,000.00, depending on
experience.New America offers a highly competitive benefits package

an office-wide closure between Christmas and New Year's
Day.Location: Remote or Hybrid mode in New America's Washington
