  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience with designing and operationalizing regulatory compliance programs for new and emerging regulations.Preferred Qualifications:
    • 5 years of experience in managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
    • Experience in leading initiatives, developing policies or thought leadership in regulated, visibility domains.
    • Ability to build relationships, influence and collaborate internally and externally at all organizational levels.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical groups.About the Job:A problem isn't truly solved until it's solved for all. As a Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish - working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.In this role, you will join a global team addressing the emerging risks pertaining to how we manage, support, and respond to audits required by various regulatory bodies. You will work with Alphabet's Legal, Compliance, Investigation, Communications, and Engineering teams to manage programs and projects that help identify, plan for, solve and help the company adapt to Alphabet's risks.Responsibilities:
      • Coordinate, manage and facilitate a portfolio of regulatory programs. Manage the design of compliance programs via cross-functional collaboration with product and legal stakeholders.
      • Understand regulations to advise on the design of compliance strategies, conduct current state assessments, analyze capabilities for solutions, and develop compliance artifacts.
      • Own the life cycle, including development of governance and processes of regulatory audits conducted by third party external auditors or regulators for Alphabet.
      • Communicate schedules, priorities, and status to all levels in the company regarding the status of new and emerging regulations.Google is proud to be an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
