Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning,
execution, and delivery of ICAM (Identity, Credential, and Access
Management) projects, specifically focusing on Credential
Management Systems (CMS) such as Intercede MyID or HID
ActivIdentity. This individual will oversee project execution,
coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful
deployment and integration of security systems and technologies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of PKI,
HSPD-12, Smart Cards, and Credential Management, along with a
proven track record of managing complex, security-focused
technology projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage ICAM projects involving Intercede MyID, HID
ActivIdentity, and other CMS, ensuring that all phases of the
project (planning, execution, monitoring, and closing) are
delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring alignment
with overall business goals and technical requirements.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, security,
operations) to ensure seamless integration of PKI solutions (e.g.,
Entrust PKI, Microsoft PKI, EJBCA PKI) with other security
technologies.
Manage the integration and configuration of Hardware Security
Modules (HSMs), Smart Cards, and other related security components,
ensuring compliance with federal security standards and
organizational policies.
Oversee the deployment and configuration of Windows Servers, both
on-premise and in the cloud, and ensure that these environments are
properly integrated with credential management systems.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders,
and internal teams, providing regular project updates, managing
expectations, and ensuring successful communication throughout the
project lifecycle.
Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks or issues and
implementing mitigation strategies to keep the project on
track.
Ensure compliance with HSPD-12 and other federal security
guidelines, ensuring that all identity and credentialing systems
are implemented in accordance with security best practices.
Manage project documentation, including risk assessments, status
reports, and post-implementation reviews.
Mentor and support junior team members, providing leadership and
guidance on project management best practices and security
technologies.
Requirements: Proven experience as a Project Manager in
ICAM-related projects, ideally within the context of Credential
Management Systems such as Intercede MyID or HID ActivIdentity.
Strong expertise in managing projects that integrate Public Key
Infrastructure (PKI), including experience with Entrust PKI,
Microsoft PKI, or EJBCA PKI.
Familiarity with the design and configuration of Hardware Security
Modules (HSMs) and Smart Card solutions.
In-depth knowledge of ICAM solutions and compliance with HSPD-12 or
other federal identity management standards.
Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects in a federal
or security-focused environment.
Strong experience with Windows Server environments (both on-premise
and cloud-based).
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize
tasks, and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the
ability to communicate complex technical information to
non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable Skills: Familiarity with Agile or similar project
management methodologies.
Experience with risk management and change management
processes.
Ability to effectively manage project budgets and timelines.
