forward.This is an 18-24 month contract role. It is preferred that
the client is based in the DC area.As a Senior Strategic Occupancy
Planner, you will drive the development of occupancy plans,
scenario planning, sequencing of group-level and individual moves
as well as facilitate and/or resolve planning issues identified in
customer planning meetings.You will be a Subject Matter Expert in
client's workplace program and the use of occupancy data analytics
to drive solutions to optimize the portfolio, in alignment with the
client's mission statement. You will need to have knowledge of
typical occupancy metrics, sharing ratios, industry best practices
and occupancy trends. Knowledge of Secure Space planning of SCIFs
and other types of Secure space will be critical.You will have a
proven track record, successfully work remotely as part of a
virtual team as a strategic occupancy planner.As an experienced
leader, you will demonstrate superior client relationship
management and strategic thinking.Client is based out of
Washington, DC with facilities across the USA. It is preferred that
the candidate is based in the DC area and must either be a US
permanent resident or US citizen.What is your day to day?
- Lead and actively participate in virtual meetings with internal
and external stakeholders
- Perform workplace programming and requirements gathering (e.g.,
Adjacency requirements)
- Perform Strategic Occupancy Planning duties (Phasing Schedules,
Block and Stack Plans & Migration Plans)
- Ensure space planning is aligned with corporate guidelines,
procedures, and protocols and that all scenarios support business
requirements
- Collaborate with Project Management and Client CRE teams
- Perform analysis of utilization data and trending
- Manage tracking and management of agreed space and occupancy
data sets within relevant technologies
- Manage client expectations throughout all planning phases
- Perform duties in line with account Service Level Agreements,
CPIs, and KPIs
- Focus on integrated and holistic solutions and the speedy
deployment of Occupancy Planning Products as neededDesired
experience and technical skillsRequired:
- 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in managing
occupancy, space, move management, and change management processes
across a broad geography in a remote and virtual environment
- Experience with implementing flex office, hoteling, and
alternative workplace solutions programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; including
active listening, verbal, written and visual and the ability to
engage at all levels of leadership from administrative to executive
level
- Strong ability to convey planning strategy in written format
incorporating supportive data and floor plans into concise
presentations to client and lines of business
- Experience with space Allocations and collaborating with Real
Estate Finance
- Critical thinking skill sets and the ability to tell a story
through data
- Great relationship building skills and client experience
focus
- Expert level data analytical skills and mastery of Excel
- Productive working remotely on a virtual team
- CAFM system and AutoCAD experience
- Ability to navigate ambiguityPreferred
- Knowledge of Secure Space planning (SCIF and other types of
Secure space)
- Experience with providing evidenced based planning solutions
using available Utilization Tools and Technologies e.g. badge,
network, sensor data
- Strong working knowledge of architectural drawings and
furniture systems
- Focuses on customers and clients, business/financial acumen,
JLL first
- Experience with project management/ scheduling of small
