Job Description:
The Classified Legal Sales Assistant plays a crucial role in
supporting the sales team within the Information and Media Services
industry. This position is responsible for managing classified
legal advertisements, ensuring compliance with legal standards, and
facilitating communication between clients and the sales team. The
assistant will also be tasked with maintaining accurate records and
databases, which are essential for tracking sales performance and
client interactions. By providing administrative support and
assisting in the development of sales strategies, the Classified
Legal Sales Assistant contributes to the overall success of the
organization. Ultimately, this role is vital in enhancing client
satisfaction and driving revenue growth through effective sales
support. Responsibilities Assist the sales team in managing
classified legal advertisements and ensuring compliance with
relevant regulations. Maintain and update client databases,
ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date. Prepare Legal
Affidavits Provide telephone and e-mail support to a Account
Executive and customers Prepare and review classified sales
contracts Handle cash advances, check request and credit card
payments for Classified and Advertising Sales department
Communicate with Art and Page layout department with all reseerved
ads or changes in orders. Coordinate communication between clients
and the sales team, addressing inquiries and providing necessary
information. Prepare sales reports and presentations to support the
sales team in their efforts. Conduct market research to identify
potential clients and assist in developing targeted sales
strategies. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or
equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in business,
marketing, or a related field preferred. Proven experience in an
administrative or sales support role, preferably within the media
or legal industry. Strong organizational skills and attention to
detail. Preferred Qualifications Experience with CRM software and
sales tracking tools. Familiarity with legal terminology and
processes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. DC
Notary or eligible to obtain DC Notary commission Skills The
required skills for this position include strong organizational
abilities, which are essential for managing multiple tasks and
maintaining accurate records. Attention to detail is critical when
handling classified legal advertisements to ensure compliance with
regulations. Communication skills are utilized daily to effectively
liaise between clients and the sales team, ensuring that all
parties are informed and satisfied. Familiarity with CRM software
enhances the ability to track client interactions and sales
performance, contributing to more effective sales strategies.
Preferred skills, such as knowledge of legal terminology, will aid
in understanding client needs and providing tailored support to the
