Position SummaryMAG Aerospace is bidding on a Customs and Border
Patrol (CBP) effort and contingently hiring for five (5)
experienced DHC-8 Aircraft / MEA Senior Systems Analyst.The place
of performance for this position is:
- Air and Marine Operations (AMO), Homestead, Florida
- NAS San Diego
- Houston Air Branch
- A place of performance to be determined at a future dateTravel
to all Air and Marine Operations Operating Locations may be
required, on an as-needed basis.The Senior Systems Analyst shall
provide technical support in all areas of avionics and tactical
sensors.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDuties of this
position will include the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs)
of the following DHC-8 Aircraft systems:
- ARC 210, ARC 182 UHF/VHF Communications Systems.
- ARC-210, RT-1824(c) SATCOM, HQ, and UHF/VHF integration.
COTHEN, Customs Over The Horizon Enforcement Network.
- SeaVue Radar System technical support.
- Selex 7500E Seaspray Radar System technical support.
- TWR-850 Rockwell Turbulence, Weather RADAR.
- L3 WESCAM - MX20/AIMS 22.
- Automatic Identification System (AIS)
- Auto Direction Finder ADF-462
- Avalex 8200 series DVR's
- Flexcom II System
- Technisonic TDFM 9300 Radio System
- Litton-100
- Star Safire series EO/IR Systems
- L3 WESCAM MX15 series EO/IR Systems
- Minotaur Mission System
- KU Beyond Line of Sight System
- 60 Hertz Power ConvertersRequirementsMinimum
RequirementsExperience:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Avionics Technician
- Working knowledge of basic air-to-air and air-to-surface radar
systems
- Extensive working knowledge of airborne communication
systems
- Experience producing and presenting technically oriented
training documentsEducation:
- Minimum High School Degree Avionics School / Course

Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not
limited to location, the particular combination of education,
knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as
contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $100,000 to
$170,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the
typical salary range for this position and is just one component of
MAG's total compensation package for employees.
