Job Description
Crown is looking for Technicians who will be responsible for
hands-on support of the equipment and components comprising the APC
system. This includes hardware installation, software loads,
integration, system staging, and system maintenance. Technicians
may perform their duties at the Contractor's facilities or may be
dispatched to provide on-site support at FAA facilities. Specific
responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
1) Performing system installation including cabling and connections
to local area and wide area networks;
2) Supporting familiarization training FAA system support
personnel;
3) Performing preventive maintenance;
4) Responding to trouble calls;
5) Resetting passwords, implementing patches, and updating system
configuration parameters as required;
6) Coordinating all maintenance actions with operations control
center personnel;
7) Performing local and remote testing on equipment including
running system diagnostics to identify faults;
8) Performing system restoration including the replacement of LRUs
to remedy failures;
9) Returning failed LRUs for repair;
10) Tracking spare parts stock levels;
11) Supporting the development of Technical Manuals.
Qualifications
This job is 100% travel.
Must be able to obtain Public Trust.
Must have good credit for travel expenses that will be reimbursed
every two weeks.
