Rockville, MD - 100% ONSITE
US citizenship required per government contract
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Candidate must have open, in-person shift availability: 1st shift: 6a-4p, 2nd shift: 1p-11p, 3rd shift 9p-6a

REQUIRED SKILLS:
--- 1-3 years of security operations center environment experience or recent college graduate with industry certifications.
--- Experience with a variety of operating systems including Windows, Linux or UNIX in a functional capacity
--- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Must be able to communicate technical details clearly
--- Splunk or similar SIEM tool

PREFERRED SKILLS
--- CSIS, CEH, CSTA, CSTP, GCFE, CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, GPEN. - One or more preferred
--- IDS Log analysis skills
--- Packet Capture tools and analysis
--- Knowledge of well-known protocols and services (FTP, HTTP, SSH, SMB, DAP)
--- Candidate must have open, in-person shift availability. Shift assignment will be determined by staffing needs. 1st shift: 6a-4p, 2nd shift: 1p-11p, 3rd shift 9p-6a
