Posted by Lopez Island School DistrictLopez IslandApr 1, 2025This position is responsible for the overall maintenance and operation of Lopez Island School district facilities including the Decatur School, on a 12-month basis. The position maintains heating, plumbing, electrical systems, and grounds for the district, troubleshoots and repairs district equipment, and orders supplies or parts as needed. Responsibilities include serving as liaison with sewer, water, and other services and coordinating major maintenance projects with outside contractors and preparing reports. Conducts basic maintenance on transportation vehicles, such as replacing headlamps, wiper blades, etc. Assists Superintendent in long-range facility planning and maintenance.Minimum Requirements:

• High school graduation or equivalent and skill in reading, writing and communication.
• Training and experience in building maintenance and custodial procedures.
