fries.Job Description SummaryMaintains records of maintenance parts
inventory. Provides information to determine status of orders.
Compiles records and monitors reorder points. Reconciles
discrepancies in inventory.Job DescriptionJob SummaryIssues parts
from MRO inventory and record stock withdrawals against work order
numbers. Locates parts through SAP system for parts issuance,
perform cycle counts, receive and put away parts on shelving and
cabinets. Performs 5-S functions; creates routine and emergency
parts requisitions, parts sourcing, and expedites parts as needed.
Performs C-Mat functions.Position Responsibilities
- Issues parts from MRO inventory using SAP/Bar Code Scanner
- Assists mechanics in locating parts in store room
- Receives MRO parts
- Puts parts away on shelves and cabinets
- Creates requisitions for maintenance operations
- Places after hours vendor calls to source emergency parts
- Collaborates with planners to kit parts for work orders
- Maintains cycle count using SAP
- Maintains store room 5-S
- Performs store room maintenance
- Expedites parts/vendor management
- Creates C-Mat requests, assigning stock numbers to parts
- SAP maintenance - data review and update
- Assist buyers
- Follows up with outside services regarding parts ordersBasic &
Preferred Qualifications
- High school or GED equivalent required, bachelor's degree
preferred
- 1-2 years MRO store room experience
- 1-2 years inventory cycle counting experience
- Computer literacy
- SAP or other CMMS experience
- Organizational skills
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Problem solving
- Maintenance operation buying experience, preferred
- 2-3 years SAP experience, preferred
- Ability to interpret technical information, preferred
- Understand basic financial principles, preferredPhysical
