Job Description:
OSW Equipment & Repair, LLC, a subsidiary of Federal Signal

Production Supervisor on our growing team, you are contributing to
the success of the company by ensuring efficiency and quality in
production and overall performance as part of the organization's

Responsibilities:
- Develops, implements, and promotes procedures and strategies to
maintain a safe, healthy, and positive working environment for the
departments they oversee.
- Area safety - reporting Injury/near miss to Plant Manager and
Safety & Training Coordinator
- Lead and provide management support and oversight for employees
at all levels in their departments.
- Ensures planning & communication to ensure operational goals
are met in the departments they oversee.Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, and
organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices
including those related to safety and health.
- Collaborates with managers and supervisors to coordinate
activities in and among departments.
- Verify, initiate necessary corrections and sign off on employee
time sheets for the assigned departments that don't have a Line
Manager.
- Initiates quarterly and yearly reviews for employees for Line
Managers and for employees absent a Line Manager of the assigned
departments.
- Assess & holds employees accountable for safety, performance,
and attendance in collaboration with HR.
- Reports employee issues to the Plant Manager and escalates them
to HR when necessary.
- Initiate conversations with Plant Manager regarding
promotion/demotion of employees.
- Manage the 3 x 3 training for their departments and create
goals for employees to better themselves.
- Create, and assess packets for the floor reviewing the BOM and
long leads to ensure everything is ready to start/continue
production.
- Presents a minimum of one project per month to the Plant
Manager which improves on or assists with lean or time reduction in
the build/production process.
- Review processes and procedures for each section of the
department and update with any changes or time study changes to BOM
costing.
- Monitor and assess total time on jobs daily to ensure orders
are on track for the allotted build hours.
- Review kanban numbers and adjust with inventory control where
necessary.
- Collects, evaluates, analyzes, tracks, and assesses production
data (including rework documentation) to report and provide answers
on KPI's and QC at the Gemba Board discussions.
- Manage time off requests ensuring: Minimum of 90% workforce
scheduled in departments and maintain a 3x3 Matrix reflecting
back-up plans for production amidst employee absences.
- Ensures 5S standards are upheld.
- Performs other duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:

quality control, cost management, and other effective manufacturing
and distribution techniques.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related
software.Education and Experience:
- Associates degree in related field, or equivalent industry work
experience required,
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, Business, or
related field preferred.
- Minimum (3) three years of supervisory/management experience
required.
- Minimum (3) three years of department specific experience
preferred.Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking through the
plant.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on
computers.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
- Visual acuity to inspect products and machinery.Additional Job
Information:
- Wage Expectations: $85,000 - 105,000 annually.
- Pay: This is an exempt, salaried position and employees are
paid on a bi-weekly basis.
- Typical Schedule: Four (4) Ten (10) hour days M-Th.
- Location: On Site - 20812 Broadway Ave; Snohomish, WA
98296.
- Travel: Very minimal to none.You will be eligible for coverage
