projects. As the Education Sector Leader, you'll lead high-profile
education and institutional projects, manage collaborative teams,
and mentor emerging talent-all while making a real difference in

and passion for education design can thrive!Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and analysis and collaborate with the
Regional Market Leader and regional leadership team to set a vision
and strategy for the education sector within the region.
- Proactively lead the strategy and actions necessary to build
and grow a dynamic team of institutional-focused industry
professionals.
- Generate new business development opportunities and strategize,
lead, and deliver winning technical proposals.
- Set the strategic direction and drive tactical initiatives that
will enhance the existing education practice in the region.
- Partner with the Regional Institutional Market Leader and
Regional Marketing Director to lead go/no-go and strategic
partnering decisions on key pursuits.
- Provide key client relationship and contract management
leadership.
- Serve as Principal-in-Charge or Senior Project Manager on
select education and key institutional projects.
- Establish and track project milestones as well as quarterly
business goals.
- Team with the Regional Marketing Director to plan, coordinate,
and participate in external visibility/promotional efforts.Skills
and Attributes
- Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering education
campus projects, generating new business, and preparing winning
proposals.
- Knowledgeable in education campus planning and/or capital
project engineering and execution.
- Strong bias for action and drive for sustained business
performance.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
skills.
- External market presence and strong visibility activity.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, including the
ability to coach and mentor staff.
- Critical thinker with a superior ability to facilitate
collaborative problem solving.Qualifications
- Minimum of 10-15+ years of relevant experience in education
campus planning and/or engineering and project management.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, transportation
planning, environmental planning, or a related field; Master's
degree preferred.
- Professional license or certification preferred.
- Experience managing teams and coaching staff members.
- Strong communication and project management skills.Regional
Education Sector Leader is a full-time position. To support market
team effectiveness and positive team building, a minimum of 50% of
time must be deployed 'in-office'.The base salary range for this
position is $160,000 - 220,000. This offer is determined based on a
number of job-related factors including internal comparators,
skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and
complexity of role responsibilities, and geographic location. VHB
