"Manufacturing market and competitor analyst" is responsible for researching and analyzing the market landscape within the manufacturing industry, including competitor activity, market trends, and customer behavior, to provide strategic insights that inform product development, pricing strategies, and overall business decision-making within a manufacturing company.

The main mandate for the position is to monitor the competitive landscape and market dynamics to identify opportunities and potential threats, helping the company maintain a competitive edge.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify industry trends, market size, growth potential, and key customer segments within the manufacturing sector.
Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor activities including new product launches, pricing strategies, marketing campaigns, technological advancements, and market share fluctuations.
Data Collection and Analysis: Gather data from various sources such as industry reports, market surveys, trade publications, competitor websites, and internal sales data to analyze trends and patterns.
Competitive Intelligence: Develop detailed competitor profiles, including their strengths, weaknesses, and potential strategic moves.
Market Forecasting: Analyze market data to predict future market trends and potential disruptions, identifying opportunities for growth.
SWOT Analysis: Conduct SWOT analysis to assess the company's position within the market, considering its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.

Required Skills:

Seeking for 8+ years of experience related to Market research, Data Analysis and Pricing Analysis.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and identify key trends and patterns.
Research Skills: Ability to conduct thorough market research using various data sources.
Competitive Analysis: Expertise in analyzing competitor strategies and identifying competitive advantages.
Data Visualization: Proficiency in using data visualization tools to present complex information effectively.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
