our companypage. Responsibilities:
- Assemble discrete conveyor equipment by following DWF and
assembly procedures.
- Responsible for final system assembly and testing of
systems.
- Knowledgeable with hand/power tools, as well as, shears,
brakes, saws, milling machines and other fabrication
equipment.
- Apply established standards, processes, and procedures to
ensure workplace safety and quality.
- Inform supervisors of any part or equipment defects to ensure
prompt response to the problem.
- Capable of reading pneumatic schematics and running
airlines.
- Conserve resources and supplies to facilitate minimum
waste.
- Follow the attendance policy of the Department.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, and perform
housekeeping duties as required.
- Able to work overtime, flexible schedules, holidays, and
weekends as required.Position Requirements:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing
environment.
- Basic understanding of electrical procedures and strong
mechanical aptitude.
- Knowledgeable with use of hand/power tools.
- Must have basic math and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and desire to learn.
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- Must be a self-managed, team player comfortable working in a
fast-paced environment.
- Ability to commit to dynamic schedules and be punctual to
work.
- Able to safely work for extended periods of time, mostly
standing, beyond an 8-hour workday.
- Ability to lift materials in excess of up to 48
pounds.Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a Lean environment.
- At least one (1) year of mechanical assembly experience.
- Familiarity with all forms of conveyor line applications.
