Platform Cybersecurity SMEThe Opportunity:Cyber threats are everywhere, and the constantly evolving nature of these threats can make understanding them seem overwhelming to the Navy. In all of this cyber noise, how can these organizations understand their risks and how to mitigate them? The answer is youan information security risk specialist who will break down complex threats into manageable plans of action.As a Navy Platform Cybersecurity SME, youll use your experience to work with the Navy to discover their cyber risks, understand applicable policies, and develop a mitigation plan. Youll review technical, environmental, and personnel details from Engineers, SMEs, and Navy Program Offices to assess the entire threat landscape. Then, youll guide your client through a plan of action with presentations, white papers, and milestones.Youll work with your client to translate security concepts, so they can make the best decisions to secure their mission critical hull, mechanical, and electrical (HM&E) and weapon systems. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allens total compensation package for employees.
