Join us as a Part-time Security Officer covering a site in Washington, where you will be required to carry out duties in a busy environment every Thursday and Friday. You will work regular sociable day shifts that you can plan your life around where no two days will be the same and you will have the opportunity to carve out a career with the biggest name in security.This is a part-time permanent role working Thursday and Friday, between 8.45am - 5:15pm but some flexibility is required.Your Time at WorkPosition: Security Officer - Part-timeLocation: WashingtonPay Rate: -12.21 per hourHours: 16 hours a weekShifts: Thursday and Friday, days only - 8:45am 5:15pmYour duties include:

• Greeting staff and visitors
• Interacting with the public
• Ensuring they follow security protocols keeping our customers and their premises secure
• Patrolling the premises and dealing with any security incidents
• Ensuring visitors and staff are in a safe environment by de-escalating situations in a firm but respectful mannerOur Perfect WorkerIt would be ideal if you have an SIA license or experience in security, but if not, then full training will be provided. What's crucial is your great communication and customer service skills. All our admin is digital and paperless, so you'll need to be tech savvy enough to use our digital devices.We are passionate about growing our own people. All of our leadership team first started out in a security role, and many of them have worked their way up with G4S.
