Salesforce Administrator II
Company: The Fountain Group
Location: Washington
Posted on: April 3, 2025
Job Description:
Bill: $69.89Pay: $49Spread: 426Duration: 10 monthsHM: Jason
SchumacherManager Updates 3/6Immediate tasks are going to be to
take on the day-to-day management of internal SFDC instance and
work on transitioning that org from centralized IT control to the
business units. Building SOPs (soft skills, procedural) but also
hard skills in knowing how to take on this admin role from an ext
org and moving into bus unit.Must have: Salesforce administrator
for at least a few years. Knowledge of APEX, VisualForce, LWC.
Experience Cloud would be great.
- Later clarified requirements: Basic core Salesforce exp #1, #2
LWC, #3 VisualForce #5 Experience Cloud, #6 APEXTeachable:
Omniscript, flows - core Salesforce tech but are teachable.Want to
interview in next week or so.Pot to extend and convert could be
possible. It is most likely not going to end should the worker's
performance be up to par.Face to face is helpful, having someone
local. Otherwise working in PT. Manager is in Seattle, rest of team
(5) are in San Fran, either location would be very helpful to
interact in person. Flexible on the onsite days.Interviews: 2
rounds - 1st round is panel assessment during interview, someone on
the panel a SFDC admin / developer. If someone had less than 2 years
as an admin this is too junior, 8 as an admin is too senior likely.
Seeking a few years doing this type of job.Important that we have
someone to think about what is the purpose, business needs, vs just
execution of doing tasks. Manage the org vs buttons and writing
APEX code - APEX is a nice to have but they will not be doing this
their entire team here.Vendor ?s
- In addition to the SFDC admin skills, what will stand out to
you on a resume? Someone who has worked as a product owner,
ultimately the hard skills are most important & this is what we are
hiring for. Standing out is ability to think strategically about
the business - the why behind this. Product owners generally have
this. Not seeking hard PM skills though (he is saying product
owners understand the why and business aspect). Nonprofit
experience is a huge nice to have.
- Trying to understand what makes someone overqualified? When I
gave years exp 2-8 this was in relation to prior work exp as a SFDC
Admin - hard technical skills. If they have product owner, not
doing tech work, I do not consider this within the 2-8 years I
mentioned.
- Open to 10 years experience? Yes. I just don't want someone
with too much experience and be bored. Someone with more exp may
want to delegate the work, I need the hands-on, there is nobody to
delegate the admin tasks to.
- Huge advantage to development skills as we look down the road
for this person. First half will be heavily on admin side.
- Are you open to candidate with split Dev / Admin skills or
would you see dev being overqualified? This would be a beneficial
skillset to bring onboard.
- Will interview candidates who are local to San Fran or Seattle
before remote.
- Nice to have exp in non profit - non profit space in general
great soft skill for the space. The platform we are working on is
Non-Profit Cloud for grants, it's a new product so we do not expect
people have this.
- Required certs? I don't know, this is out of my depth. I can
follow up later today, we did not define this in the JD. We would
expect an Admin cert at a minimum.
- Public Sector or government outside of nonprofit could be
helpful? YES
- Big tech industry? Prefer public sector vs big tech. This is a
preference, not a deal breaker exactly. This subject matter could
be teachable.
- Do you see in lieu of preferred product ownership experience
that candidates that have a business analyst BG in additional to
admin skills could also be considered a leg up? Yes, would be
great. This would be super complimentary.
- Confirming Experience Cloud is requirement to submit?
Familiarity is a requirement, I don't care if they have built an
experienced cloud site from ground up, I need them to understand
how to work with Experience Cloud. Must have worked with
previously.BR w/ MSP fee removed:

would love to go perm, but do not have current available headcount.
When that changes we would absolutely like to convert the right
candidate. This role is located in Washington - Seattle. Can this
position be fully remote? YesIf the role requires the worker to be
