sources worldwide.The Food Safety Quality Assurance (FSQA)
Supervisor is responsible for directing and supervising a group of
employees involved in the quality control program designed to
ensure continuous production of products consistent with
established standards by performing the following duties.Key
Responsibilities:
- Plans and assigns work of subordinates.
- Develops and/or adapts inspection equipment to meet quality
control standards, makes suggestions with regard to procedures,
standards and equipment to facilitate work and maintain product
quality.
- Analyzes facts or circumstances surrounding individual problems
to determine what action should be taken within the limits of
standard practices.
- Responsible for compilation and maintenance of inspection
reports and records.
- Investigates and determines cause of faulty work and consult
and advise production supervisors as to corrective measures.
- Keeps manager abreast of significant issues or developments
identified during quality assurance activities and actions being
taken to improve the situation.
- Maintains discipline, morale, and harmonious relations among
subordinates.
- Investigates and adjusts personnel problems within area of
responsibility. Effectively recommends as to hiring, promotions,
wage adjustments and terminations.Additional Responsibilities:
- Acquires knowledge of Trident's Environmental and Safety
Policies by completing required training programs and performing
designated work activities in accordance with training and
procedures/work instructions.
- Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety
incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with
Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings.
- All other duties as assigned.This is a non-exempt position with
an hourly rate of $28 to $34.Trident Seafoods offers a

available.Minimum Requirements:
- Three to five years supervisory experience in the Quality
Assurance field.
- Working knowledge of HACCP regulations, Food safety and audit
procedures.Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or
university.
- Seafood industry experience preferred.Physical Demands:While
performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and
reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to
climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit;
stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee moves
objects regularly up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds, and
occasionally up to 50 pounds.This position is not eligible for
