We are searching for a Top Secret cleared Data Architect (Senior) to join our team in Washington, DC.You will be working in an organization that's mission is to accelerate operations through data and new analytical insights. The entire section leverages agile and works to provide the entire enterprise with tools and applications to assist with operational data discovery, data exploitation, data analytics, and data visualization tools. The section works closely with the entire enterprise to ensure its applications and tools meet or exceed the needs of the mission.The Data Architect (Senior) is a part of a team that will lead large scale data analysis projects to design and deliver on-premises and cloud-based applications. The Data Architect (Senior) is responsible for designing and developing solutions to complex data sets. You will be leading the development of enterprise data architectures, strategies, and solution recommendations in support of business strategies. The Data Architect (Senior) leads the design of high-level conceptual and logical models that facilitate a cross-system/cross-functional view of data requirements and establishes processes for governing the identification, collection, and use of corporate metadata, taking steps to assure metadata accuracy, validity, and quality.Responsibilities:

• Designs and develops solutions to complex data sets.
• Leads the development of enterprise data architectures, strategies, and solution recommendations in support of business strategies.
• Leads design of high-level conceptual and logical models that facilitate a cross-system/cross-functional view of data requirements.
• Establishes processes for governing the identification, collection, and use of corporate metadata and takes steps to assure metadata accuracy, validity, and quality.
• Provides leadership to system and local work groups.
• Designs and builds relational and non-relational databases.
• Translates business needs into long-term architecture solutions.
• Reviews object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access.Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. Plans and leads major technology assignments. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. May supervise others. Minimum of 8 years' experience recommended. In absence of years of experience, certifications or past work may be used to show the level of experience needed to perform at this level.Requirements:
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• Minimum of 8 years of experience with 6 years of related technical specialized experience
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or other related field
• In absence of degree, additional years of experience may be substituted for educational requirementsClearance Required: Top Secret with SCI eligibilityMinimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or other related fieldMinimum Years of Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience with 6 years of related technical specialized experiencePreferred:
• Backend: NodeJS, Express, NestJS, NextJS, Npm (node package manager), Go language, Java 8, SOAP services, Maven and Gradle, Code quality and standardization practices
• Development Tools: Git source version control, Jira project management, Static Application Security Testing (SAST, e.g. SonarQube, Gitlab SAST), Unit and integration testing (e.g., jest, mocha, chai)
• Database: Postgres 15+, Liquibase configuration management, Yet Another Markup Language (YAML), JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), Entity-Attribute-Value (EAV) design
• Business Analysis and Project Management: SAFe Agile Principles, Jira, Confluence
