Account Executive I - Fine Art Insurance Huntington T. Block
(HTB) Insurance Agency, Inc., business group within Aon Affinity is
the oldest and largest managing general underwriter of Fine Art
Insurance in the United States. The Account Executive I is a hybrid
role with the flexibility to work both virtually and in office two
to three days a week at our Washington, DC office. Aon is in the

and clients succeed. What the day will look likeThe Account
Executive I will be responsible for the day-to-day, account
management of HTB's relationships with assigned clients, and
proficient, from both a coverage and process standpoint. Retaining
and growing the assigned book of business will be essential
elements for this position. This position includes risk review and
analysis of both renewal and new business submissions gathering
data in accordance with established HTB underwriting guidelines as
well as the ability to build and maintain effective business
relationships with clients, prospects and both internal and
external underwriters, etc. The Account Executive I is accountable
for accurate risk assessment and documentation and executing sound
decisions/recommendations while deploying clear communication both
internally and externally. Jobs Responsibilities:
- Assists Senior member of the HTB staff with processing of
Policies, Endorsement, Certificatesof insurance and any other
requests when asked.
- Attains planned for Renewal Account Policy Retention Goal by
understanding the coverage provided, the client's needs and
complying with established service delivery standards.
- Remarkets and brokes existing policies per client requests or
as warranted by market conditions.
- Actively supports and monitors the renewal process drafting
quote comparisons, coverage inquiry and analysis responses.
- Carefully produces and delivers the following to the client in
a timely fashion: renewal solicitations, quotes, certificates of
insurance, binders, policies, schedules, invoices, and
endorsements.
- Addresses and resolves client service problems. Manages
accounts receivables and responds to client payment-related
requests.
- Supports the team's annual New Business Sales Goal by actively
participating in new business and account rounding efforts as
required. The individual annual sales and account rounding goal, if
any, for this position is typically $25,000 - $50,000 or less.
- May be asked to attend and network at association conventions,
conferences, trade shows, museum/gallery openings, business
luncheons and similar events if and as assigned. Some travel may be
required.
- Use sound judgment and independent thinking to achieve the
maximum result within accepted authority.
- Identify premium growth opportunities with current book by
cross-sell offering other coverage.
- Collect/monitor competitive intelligence on all key competitors
within assigned areas; anticipate client's needs by contributing to
research and development of products /endorsements.
- Work with clients or brokers to provide coverage overviews and
clarifications.
- Actively seeks out new and challenging projects. Performs other

experience that will lead you to success:Required Experience:
- Property & Casualty license required
- 2-5 years of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry
work experience as an account executive or underwriter is required.
Specific Fine Art & Musical Instrument insurance or a related
Inland Marine Specie line is preferred.
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication
skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity in working with
carrier underwriting systems.
- Self-motivated, highly organized and detail oriented. Ability
to work in a team environment.
- Experience with MS Office suite products, proficiency with
Excel is required.Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and
industry experience is required. Risk management-related studies
and/or business is a plus.
- Relevant advanced degree or P&C insurance industry
designation such as an ARM, CPCU or CIC is a plus.How we support

position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $70,000 to $85,000
annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's
education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal
equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be
