Job Description:
ResponsibilitiesWe are looking to add a Systems Architect to our team of talented professionals.What you'll do:The Systems Architect will perform independent high-level design of enterprise systems, specifically focused on delivering new MLOps capabilities, integrating advanced AI use cases, and deploying LLMs into an existing cloud-based, distributed, high-performance analytics platform.
- Providing expertise in the formulation of system scope and objectives relative to the business plan and industry requirements.
- Designing model development lifecycle optimizations and process automation of model quality checks.
- Ensuring data security, quality, and overall governance is at the forefront of all newly implemented changes.
- Staying up to date with latest capabilities rolled out to current COTS products integrated into the analytics system architecture, such as Snowflake and Databricks.
- Performing cost-benefit analyses to determine whether requirements are best met by manual, software, or hardware functions; making maximum use of commercial off-the-shelf or already developed components.
- Creating comprehensive documentation to support complex system integration.
- Assisting in operationalizing AI/ML workflows into production.
- Communicating platform changes and escalating platform issues as they arise.
- Generating a set of acceptance test requirements for complex
systems, together with the designers, test engineers, and the user
to determine that all the high-level requirements have been
met.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience
- Experience leading complex technical development
- Technical project management experience
- Experience working with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) information systems
- Familiarity with Medicare claims data
- Ability to work independently and effectively with little to no supervision
- Team player
- Excellent executive function and communication skills
- Experience working with Databricks, Snowflake, and AWS Cloud Services
- Knowledge of machine learning and analytics
- Experience with Java, Snowflake SQL, Python, R, and Scala
- Experience in System Architecture and the development of software frameworks and APIs to mediate between model developers and data structures
- Experience in building and automating application package deployments
- US Citizenship is requiredPreferred Qualifications:
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification preferred
- Experience with components of Databricks' E2 Platform (Unity Catalog and Feature Store)
- API development experience or experience utilizing Databricks REST APIs
- Advanced Spark architecture knowledge experience
- Development with scripting languages, such as Python or bash, to support automated CI/CD processes
- Experience integrating large scale analytics components to support model development
- Experience in healthcare industry analytics and data,

$179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this
