Job Description:
A company is looking for an Inside Underwriter to support a team
in arranging appropriate insurance coverage for clients.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the underwriting process in accordance with carrier
guidelines and company policies
Submit information to brokerage markets for accounts outside
binding authority
Develop and maintain relationships with binding-authority and
brokerage carriers
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or appropriate insurance designation
Three years of experience in underwriting or brokering E&S or
specialty insurance products
Must be licensed in corresponding areas of insurance
Ability to independently manage the underwriting and brokerage
process
Strong knowledge of underwriting the types of accounts handled by
the team
