OverviewThe Physical and Computational Sciences Directorate
(PCSD) researchers lead major R&D efforts in experimental and
theoretical interfacial chemistry, chemical analysis, high energy
physics, interfacial catalysis, multifunctional materials, and
integrated high-performance and data-intensive computing.As a high
school intern in the Geochemistry group, the candidate will
contribute to the Lab's mission of advancing the understanding of
complex systems and phenomena critical to the nation's energy and
environmental resources. The candidate will be part of a
multidisciplinary team analyzing spectral and microscopy data to
support research on crystal growth mechanisms. This opportunity
will provide hands-on experience in scientific data analysis and
exposure to cutting-edge research in
geochemistry.ResponsibilitiesPacific Northwest National Laboratory
(PNNL) is seeking sophomore, junior or senior high school students
for intern assignments within the Student Research Apprenticeship
Program (SRAP). This summer internship is a research-based
experience for students who are sophomores, juniors, or seniors
interested in science and engineering. SRAP is a 10-week program,
estimated based on the start date; the anticipated start date for
