Contract Administrator to join our growing Washington Works team.
This position will be available at the Washington, WV location and
report directly to the Site Maintenance and Contractor Manager.The
Contract Administrator role will support the site in developing
contracting strategy, communicate contracting policies and
procedures, implement Best Practices, based on corporate guidance
and set expectations with contractors on acceptable levels of
performance on site.The responsibilities of the position include,
but are not limited to the following:
- Assist the Area Job Reps
- Conduct Bid meetings.
- Ensure Vendors used on site meet corporate safety
requirements
- Perform Site and Area PSM training for new hires and refresher
training as needed
- Chair PSM Element for Contractor Safety
- Lead monthly Contractor Management Safety Meetings
- Perform Safety Field Audit and home office audits
- Ensure that contractors use proper disposal and environmental
protection procedures.
- Review, on an ongoing basis, the policies regulating the safety
& security aspects of handling contractors
- Document metrics on contractor cost and activity
- Drive continuous improvement on contractor performance and
cost
- Ensure vendor invoicing is received and processed timely and
assist accounts payable
- Manage plant grounds (mowing, snow removal, trash, etc.)
- Networking with other organizations on Site and through
Corporation (CA Network)The following is required for this
role:
- Strong knowledge around contracting and working with
contractors, with a minimum of 3 years' experience
- High School or GED equivalent education
- Proficiency with contractor safety
- Knowledge of OSHA PSM standards with contractors
- Previous experience working with contractors in manufacturing
plants.
- Time management and prioritization skillsThe following
preferred in this role:
- Leadership ability, primarily through influence management
- Effective communication and presentation skills (both oral and
written)
- Good interpersonal and conflict resolution skills with ability
to influence managers, peers and team
- Ability to work independently with minimal

$127,680.00Chemours Level:24Annual Bonus Target:6%The pay range and
incentives listed above is a general guideline based on the primary
location of this job only and not a guarantee of total
compensation. Factors considered in extending a compensation offer
include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job,
experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal
equity, and alignment with market data. The incentive pay is
dependent on business results and individual performance and
subject to the terms and conditions of the specific plans.At
