This role requires a highly organized individual with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects efficiently.Job Responsibilities:Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Provide organizational and logistical support for projects, ensuring smooth execution and adherence to deadlines.
  • Maintain records, track project progress, and assist in preparing reports and presentations.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document key discussions and action items.
  • Manage correspondence, draft communications, and respond to inquiries as needed.
  • Assist with budget tracking and procurement of project-related materials and resources.Communications & Outreach Responsibilities:
    • Develop and manage content for various communication channels, including publications, websites, emails, brochures, and marketing materials.
    • Oversee the creation and distribution of digital and print newsletters, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding.
    • Write, edit, and proofread promotional and informational content for diverse audiences.
    • Ensure content aligns with organizational branding and style guidelines across multiple platforms.
    • Curate and review images and other media to maintain quality and consistency in communications.
    • Develop and execute content strategies for social media platforms, including the creation of graphics and engagement initiatives.
    • Analyze communication metrics and social media analytics to assess engagement and effectiveness, providing recommendations for improvement.
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including university communications teams and other departments, to enhance outreach efforts.
    • Support website maintenance and updates, ensuring accuracy and usability.Performs other duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.Minimum Qualifications:Qualified candidates will hold a high school diploma/GED plus 3 years of relevant professional experience, or a Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant area of study. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Preferred Qualifications:
      • Advanced written and verbal communication skills with a solid foundation in grammar, spelling, and creativity.
      • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
      • Familiarity with social media management, analytics tools, and digital marketing strategies is desired.
      • Proficiency in content creation tools, including design software and website management platforms, is preferred.
      • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage multiple competing projects in an organized and efficient manner by prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
      • Ability to operate effectively in both independent and leadership roles preferred.
      • Excellent computer skills, including student systems, Adobe Experience Manager, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and WordPress is desired.
      • Organizational skills, self-motivation, good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
