Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center, located in Woodbridge,
VA, is hiring a Team Coordinator, Patient Access - Full Time
Evenings
The Team Coordinator for Patient Registration and/or Patient
Financial Services is responsible and accountable for the daily
operations of one or more areas. Supervises staff including
coordinating quality and customer service activities; assisting in
the development and monitoring of the department budget;
coordinating the purchasing and payroll processes; serving as a
technical resource to team members; and performing work assignments
as needed to provide appropriate coverage and to mentor/assist
staff. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and developing staff
with the goal of developing highly effective work team. Serves as
chief retention officer for areas of responsibility.

Job Summary
The team coordinator for Patient Registration and/or Patient

Equivalent experience in Registration may be considered in lieu of
Bachelors degree.
Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM) OR Certified Healthcare
Access Associate (CHAA) required to be obtained within 12
months.
