In this role, you'll be responsible for applying and maintaining waterproofing solutions to commercial buildings and structures to prevent water damage and ensure long-term durability. Whether you're sealing foundations, applying membranes, or installing drainage systems, your expertise will be crucial in keeping projects protected from the elements.   • Assess buildings, roofs, walls, and foundations to identify areas vulnerable to water penetration.
  • Apply waterproofing systems, including sealants, membranes, coatings, and drainage solutions, as specified in project plans.
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, repairing, and priming before waterproofing application.
  • Install vapor barriers, drainage systems, and other moisture protection methods.
  • Inspect and repair existing waterproofing to ensure long-term effectiveness.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and waterproofing specifications.
  • Use appropriate tools and equipment, such as sprayers, rollers, trowels, and sealants, to ensure high-quality work.
  • Follow OSHA safety regulations and best practices for working at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.Qualifications & Skills:
    • Experience in waterproofing, masonry, roofing, or a similar construction field (training will be provided for company-specific techniques).
    • Knowledge of various waterproofing systems, such as liquid-applied membranes, bituminous coatings, and sheet membranes.
    • Ability to work at heights, lift heavy materials, and perform physically demanding tasks.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Familiarity with construction safety standards and regulations.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required for job site travel).
    • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Certification or training in waterproofing, air barriers, or related construction techniques.
    • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
    • Experience with specialized waterproofing technologies, such as green roofs or structural waterproofing.
