Our business continues to grow and evolve with a multitude of exciting projects throughout Perth and regional Western Australia.Opportunities are available within both our Rowe Group land development / strategic planning (design) and built form / statutory planning (planning) teams; noting we are not necessarily looking for someone to be defined within a set team and are open to exploring opportunities across a range of experience and interests. We take a collaborative approach in the delivery of our projects and work together in the sharing of knowledge and skills to achieve the best outcomes for our clients.We are looking for a qualified, experienced Town/Urban Planner who has a desire to work on a variety of exciting urban infill, master planned community and regional growth projects for both private and public sector clients. The role is collaborative, team oriented and Perth-based, with the opportunity for travel to regional WA, and are available on a permanent full-time, or permanent part-time basis. Shorter term, contract work opportunities may also be explored.Our Offer to You

  • Remuneration of $75,000-$85,000 annual salary plus superannuation.Key technical capabilities and responsibilities:
    • Performs various planning duties across planning and design projects in residential, commercial, industrial and rural sectors, assigned by the Manager and/or Principal Planners.
    • Undertakes research and literature reviews to prepare preliminary planning advice and documentation for development applications, structure planning, subdivision and scheme amendment proposals, applications for review and planning studies.
    • Liaises regularly with internal staff, external consultants and project managers, government agencies/statutory authorities and clients with respect to assigned planning tasks.
    • Attends and/or arranges project meetings, participating in meetings, preparing and circulating agendas and meeting minutes.
    • Assists senior staff with preparing material for presenting at DAP, Council, Committee and other meetings/forums.
    • Responding to cold-call telephone, email and general enquiries on all matters relating to planning.
    • Contributes to and assists with business development and marketing activities at the direction of the Team Manager.
    • Attends and participates at training workshops and professional events, applying learnings in the workplace and sharing knowledge with others.All applicants must have full time working rights within Australia.Roles, Skills & Qualifications:We encourage our staff to uphold our core company values of:
