Job Description The Opportunity: Join BAE Systems' Intelligence
and Security Sector and be part of a diverse and enthusiastic team
who supports the U.S Navy's Strategic System Program (SSP). We are
searching for a Systems Integration Manager to join the Software
Solutions team that supports the customer' enterprise applications.
This is a hybrid position requiring three days in the office each
week. In-office collaboration days are Tuesday and Wednesday with
the third in office day of your choice. The Role: As a Lead on the
Systems Integration Team working to maintain the confidentiality,
integrity, and availability of the Navy's SSP applications you
will:
- Supervise a dedicated team who support system integration of
COTS and GOTS applications.
- Lead and perform technical planning and system integration
activities
- Collaborate with the customer to define integration
requirements from architectural specifications and design a
solution to meet those requirements
- Create integration plans, integration reports and test
procedures
- Decompose complex activities into tasks that can be distributed
to teammates or completed personally
- Evaluate products and upgrades for appropriateness of cost and
compatibility
- Research current systems technology and serve as the subject
matter expert on complex systems processes and procedures
- Draft technical instructions, technical designs and other
technical documentation
- Configure and perform administrative duties on implemented
solutions
- Establish, document, manage, and communicate team expectations,
goals, roles, responsibilities, and objectivesWho You Are:
- You are an experienced Systems Integrator who is looking to
move into management
- You are eager to work in a DoD environment supporting the
customer's mission
- You love learning how to use and administer new tools and
technologies
- You are interested in working across sections and collaborating
across teams to solve problems, design solutions, and troubleshoot
issues
- You have a high degree of personal drive, initiative and the
ability to drive change Required Education, Experience, & Skills
BAE has found that success in this position requires:
- At least 12 years position related experience
- An active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top
Secret clearance
- This is a hybrid position requiring three days in the office
each week. In-office collaboration days are Tuesday and Wednesday
with the third in office day of your choice
- An IAT II certification as specified in the DoD 8570
- Ability to obtain and maintain Common Access Card (CAC), badge
access to the customer's facility, and a SSP network account in
good standing
- Demonstrated experience configuring Software Applications and
Systems
- Experience drafting technical instructions, technical designs
and other technical documentation
- Ability to create integration plans, integration reports and
test procedures
- Ability to evaluate complex activities, evaluate products and
upgrades, and research current systems technology
- Knowledge of software configuration management processes
- Knowledge of software, application or system integration
process and testing
- Experience establishing and maintaining effective working
relationships with partners and government officials
- Ability to coach and mentor employeesPreferred Education,
Experience, & Skills Additional education, experience, and skills
that will further contribute to your success include:
- Prefer Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information
Systems and at least 8 years of work experience
- Background in IT to include an understanding of computer
networks and IT Systems
- Project Management skills
- Self-Starting, proactive approach to tasks
- Strong learning capacity for software tools and
technologies
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
- CompTIA Security+ ce Certification
- Experience applying DISA Security Technical Implementation
Guides (STIGs)
- Experience with VMware vSphere/vCenter 6.5
- Experience with PowerShell script writing
- RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7 or later experiencePay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $112420 - $191070Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
