will support a federal humanitarian and policy program through
various program operations and management functions. Roles and
Responsibilities The Governance and Project Lead will need to be
proactive and willing to handle a variety of general
administrative, project management, program management, and
technical support duties. The ability to jump in and identify tasks
and needs to support the team is key, as the program and team are
very dynamic and integrated. Specific responsibilities will
include: Work with other governance support staff and various
stakeholders on deliverables and work products needed by the
program, handle knowledge management, data analysis, and strategic
program planning Support the PMO team by monitoring and evaluating
also aspects of governance workstream project implementation
Analyze and identify program task needs, work through complex
issues, and communicate effectively to provide solutions to
critical tasks and meet high priority deadlines Support the
establishment and maintenance of project methodologies, governance,
standard operating procedures (SOPs), documentation, and templates,
produce high-quality documents and organize large amounts of
information into a clearly communicated, meaningful format Develop
federal IT governance body charters and establishing governance
processes Help facilitate governance and the Program Office related
meetings and forums Establish and maintain stakeholder
relationships through effective communication, negotiation, and
issues resolutions Develop Business Process Modeling (BPM) diagrams
to map out processes, improve communications and efficiency, align
operations, assess risks, and identify areas for improvement
Prepare professionally formatted visuals using Visio and PowerPoint
to include complex data tables and figures Ability to support and
potentially manage PMO projects by applying effective project
management principles Ability to develop and manage project
management artifacts to include a WBS, Requirements Traceability
Matrix, Risk Registers, Action and Decision Logs, Project Schedules
and all other project related documentation needed to effectively
manage projects Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of relevant
experience supporting federal government customers Strong attention
to detail with excellent proofreading, grammar, and composition
Solution-focused and forward-thinking, taking ownership of tasks to
research and provide new insights Strong communication,
interpersonal, and stakeholder relationship-building skills
Expertise in developing and managing SOPs Expertise in business
process modeling using Visio or a similar BPM tool Experience
establishing and maintaining governance body processes and program
artifacts Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative
environment as well as work independently Ability to analyze data
and use analytic tools/software such as Excel Experience with
Project Management tools and artifacts Experience working with
Microsoft Project, Excel and PowerPoint presentations Must have a
Bachelor of Arts or Science from an accredited university or
college Authorized to work for any U.S. employer Ability to work a
hybrid onsite/remote work schedule based on workplace policy
Preferred Experience Experience working in Advocacy, Humanitarian
aid, or International Policy Experience analyzing federal
regulations and policy guidelines PMP training/certification Prior
consulting experience Experience using Smartsheets If you are a

factors to determine salary, including but not limited to
geographic location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies,
experience, as well as organizational and contract-specific
requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is
$85,000 to $100,000 (Annualized USD). The estimate displayed
represents a typical annual salary range for this position, and is
just one component of Southpoint's total compensation package for
