Company: Gold Fields Group Services (Pty) LtdReporting to the Senior Geologist: Exploration, you will work in a team dedicated to progressing exploration targets from generative projects through to resource definition drilling and finally handover to production. We currently explore a diverse range of deposit styles, host lithologies and structural complexities resulting in a wide range of experiences to offer someone early in their career.As an employee at Gold Fields, we expect all levels of employees to act in a manner that seeks to align and enhance the values, safety culture and performance of Gold Fields with the purpose of creating enduring value beyond mining.This role can be offered on a 8 days on 6 days off roster as either residential in Kambalda or Kalgoorlie OR Fly in Fly out from Perth. Bus transportation is offered to and from site for residential candidates and relocation assistance will be offered to the successful candidate if required.Benefits include:

• Educational assistanceAbout the role:
• Extensive fieldwork including working remotely and independently on drill rigs to ensure drill programs are completed efficiently and effectively;
• Comprehensive geological and structural logging of Diamond Core and RC/AC chips;
• Section and map updates with drilling information;
• Digital input and validation of logging information;
• Sample selection for analysis; QAQC planning and evaluation;
• Daily liaising with drill contractor's, tracking of drilling and sample dispatch;
• Working with geological and geophysical datasets to assist in interpretation of drilling results.About you:
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology (honours preferred)
• Previous exploration experience in orogenic gold systems is highly desirable
• Valid manual Driver's Licence
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and exposure to relevant GIS, database and 3D software highly regarded
