Overview:Do you have customer service or theatre experience? Come join the Entertainment team as a Special Events Usher at Kings Dominion. Help create an experience our guests will never forget! This position has a starting wage of $13.00 an hour, plus the fun benefits of free park entry for yourself, the opportunity to earn admission tickets for your friends and family, as well as awesome employee appreciation events!
Responsibilities: - Greet park guests. - Familiarize self with park show times and events. - Identify and prevent hazards to performers and guests. - Count guests as they enter and record total show attendance. - Ensure guests follow the rules and policies of the facility. - Assist guests with seating. - Participate in the upkeep (cleaning) of all facilities in the operation of the - - - - Entertainment Department - Attend department training.
Qualifications: - Ability to stand for extended periods. - Must be 16 years of age or older. - Must be able to lift fifty pounds. - Have a passion and excitement about Kings Dominion! - Love helping others and supporting the needs of our guests and associates. - Ability to work and interact with people from diverse backgrounds. - Good judgement and a commitment to safety. - Availability includes weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
