Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
 
• Ensuring a user-focused online experience – leading user research, interactive design, information architecture, and visual design
• Establishing usability requirements and design quality guidelines per agency guidelines
• Developing conceptual interactive prototypes, use cases, diagrams, wireframes, and user-centered designs by considering market analysis, customer feedback, site metrics, and usability findings
• Developing and maintaining detailed user interface specifications and design patterns
• Working with developers to document and review user interface enhancements
• Collaborating with company stakeholders for design review and feedback
• Fostering a cooperative working environment; give and accept feedback, and encourage design innovation within a team
• Measuring design impact and build an evaluation framework incorporating qualitative and quantitative seller feedback
• An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating great user-centered design solutions is a requirement for application
• Visual design expertise demonstrated through mockups, style guides and working prototypes
• Experience working with web content management systems (Drupal experience a plus)
• Ability to drive the design review cycle and close on design requirements in a team-based environment
• Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design, as well as strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques
• Familiarity with the technical considerations needed when designing for the web and mobile platforms
• Proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Visio, and Dreamweaver
• Visual design expertise demonstrated through mockups and style guides
• Experience working in a collaborative team
• Excellent customer experience intuition; demonstrates success in creating innovative and user-friendly websites and customer-facing features
• Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment
• HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, Flash
• Experience with agile/scrum
• Web-based application user experience in a global context
• Excellent communication, presentation, and persuasion skills; demonstrated success building buy-in for an innovative and innovative and bold strategic vision
 
 
REQUIRED SKILLS:
 
• Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience
• 8 years’ experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role
• United States lawful permanent residency
 
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
 
• Familiarity with tools such as Bootstrap, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Sketch is a plus
