Job Description:
OverviewAcuity is seeking a Systems Administrator who will
support the Department of State, International Narcotics and Law
Enforcement Affairs Bureau (INL). This System Administrator
position is designed for professionals seeking to apply their
technical expertise in both on-premises and cloud-based
environments. By leveraging strong Active Directory and Azure Entra
ID knowledge, cybersecurity proficiency, Agile methodologies, and
ServiceNow skills, the successful candidate will play a pivotal
role in ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient IT
operations.Responsibilities
- Active Directory Administration: Manage user and group
accounts, organizational units (OUs), and Group Policy Objects
(GPOs). Oversee AD health checks, replication, and overall
performance optimization.
- Microsoft Azure Entra ID Management: Configure and maintain
hybrid identity solutions, synchronization services, and single
sign-on (SSO). Ensure secure identity governance across cloud
resources.
- System Security and Compliance: Implement security best
practices and ensure adherence to relevant compliance frameworks.
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to mitigate vulnerabilities,
monitor system activity, and respond to incidents.
- ServiceNow Workflow and Ticket Management: Utilize ServiceNow
to track and resolve incidents, problems, and service requests.
Generate reports and dashboards for management visibility into
system operations.
- Agile Framework Methodology: Participate in Agile ceremonies
such as daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to achieve
continuous improvement and timely delivery of objectives.
- Documentation and Communication: Document standard operating
procedures (SOPs) and system configurations. Provide clear, concise
updates to leadership and technical teams regarding system status,
changes, and risks.Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance (minimum)
- 3-5 years of system administration experience in enterprise
environments
- Mastery of Microsoft Active Directory (AD)
- Knowledgeable of Microsoft Azure Entra ID
- Proficiency in basic cybersecurity fundamentals, and incident
response processes
- Familiarity with Agile Framework Methodology and ability to
work in an iterative collaborative environment
- Experience with ServiceNow for IT service management (ITSM) and
workflow automation.Clearance Requirements:
- Must have an Active Secret clearance or higher, verifiable in
