- If you are an experienced SWE or SRE who is passionate about
building the platform that delivers capabilities to directly
improve the experience of the warfighter, this is the job for
you.
- Engineers supporting Strategic Infrastructure will work with
technical leaders and mission system engineers to determine
technical direction and delivery with thorough analysis, designs
and code. They should be comfortable leading small, focused
projects as well as making major contributions to the code and
system design. They will deliver tools, features and enable the
deployment engineers to execute efficiently.ABOUT THE JOBWHAT
YOU'LL DO
- Rapidly develop technology solutions to advance strategic
infrastructure initiatives that enable all Anduril business lines
to accelerate delivery of Anduril's best-in-class warfighting
capabilities.
- Lead cross functional teams executing on zero-to-one
developmental projects across Anduril's emerging capability areas,
with a particular focus on efforts to build highly scalable
platforms or infrastructure.
- Improve Anduril's operational capabilities by improving our
core product offering through root cause analysis and creating
tooling capable of managing large scale deployments.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to develop and
execute integration strategies that support business growth while
targeting specific customer needs using existing and novel
capabilities.
- Build global partnerships and an understanding of ongoing
technology development efforts across Anduril and the industry to
accelerate delivery of business critical technologies.
- Develop solutions to our customers' most complex problems and
help support next-generation acquisition efforts to address jointly
identified capability gaps.
- Leverage customer partnerships and industry knowledge to ensure
Anduril is leading the industry in building and delivering complete
and relevant solutions to the warfighter.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 7 years of operations and engineering experience in
the government and/or private sector.
- Experience building scalable infrastructure and backend
software systems with various data storage and processing
requirements.
- Experience with industry standard cloud platforms (AWS, Azure),
CI/CD tools, and software infrastructure fundamentals (networking,
security, distributed systems).
- Ability to understand, debug, and modify software written in
languages such as Go, Rust, C++, or Python.
- STEM degree or equivalent technical experience.
- Deep technical aptitude to understand novel and emerging
threats, technologies, and product capabilities with demonstrated
performance in one or more of the following areas: networking,
cloud technologies, application development, hardware design,
and/or cybersecurity.
- Must be willing to travel up to 30%.
- Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Top
Secret security clearance.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Deep technical expertise in multiple domains (systems design,
networking, storage, cybersecurity, etc.) to quickly identify
opportunities for points of customer integration and
collaboration.
- Proven ability to drive consensus across multiple stakeholders
outside the organization.
- Experience building and leading teams to operate in stressful
and ambiguous situations.
- Experience in the technical, programmatic, and operational
challenges of developing and deploying autonomous weapon systems
across command echelons.
- High bandwidth to focus on opportunities that span the spectrum
of Anduril hardware and software products, and the spectrum of
defense program offices.
- Experience working with other cultures and mapping human
terrain in order to positively represent our company and navigate
unfamiliar decision-making chains.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial,
and creative environment.
- A leader who can build, adapt, and implement new and innovative
approaches to market.
- Excellent writing and communication skills and experience
briefing senior executives and defense leadership.US Salary Range:
$196,000 - $294,000 USDThe salary range for this role is an
estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive
of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not
limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical
skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity
grants are included in the majority of full-time offers; and are
considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
