We are looking for a Senior Web Application Developer to join a Scrum Team supporting a telecommunication modeling system. This position will primarily support development of ingest and export services to external data systems. Travel: Approximately 10% Clearance: An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance. Requirements:

• 10 or more years' experience with software development
• Demonstrated experience developing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving Logstash pipelines
• Experience developing and maintaining customized development support tools
• Experience developing system/software architecture diagrams and processes
• Experience with Kubernetes and Elasticsearch Responsibilities:
  • Assisting the team's Product Owner to decompose user needs into features and individual work items
  • Developing and maintaining Logstash pipelines
  • Mentoring more junior teammates
  • Providing peer reviews for code
  • Identifying, troubleshooting, and correcting software bugs/issues Education: BS in Computer Science (MS preferred) Compensation: Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements. The projected annual compensation range for this position is $110,220 - $140,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
