OverviewLMI is seeking a Software Developer to support our customers' configuration and development objectives. This is a hybrid position reporting to USPS Merrifield, VA facility. • Designs, modifies, develops, writes, and implements software programming applications.
• Familiar with SDLC, designs, plans, and coordinates work teams.
• Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems.
• Writes instructions for deploying developed software to different environments.
• Debugs or troubleshoots application issues independently.
• A wide degree of creativity and attitude is expected for fast-paced R&D environments.
• Typically reports to the team lead of the development group.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated competency with Microsoft C# programming language with .Net platform.
  • Skillful with Microsoft Visual Studio IDE with source control software TFS (Team Foundation Server).
  • Adept with C# web application design.
  • Proven ability to deliver products and experience working in an Agile software development lifecycle.
  • Strong familiarity with C#.Net Oracle database interface design, and SQL commands.
  • This position requires five (5) or more years' work experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a USPS Public trust clearance.Desired Qualifications:
    • Experienced with Microsoft Entity Framework.
    • Working knowledge of web services/web API design.
    • Knowledge and skill in application of section 508 compliance in UI design.
    • Microsoft Windows system experience, e.g., Win10/11, Windows Servers.
    • Knowledge of Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).
    • Experience with UI interface design technologies is a plus, e.g., speech recognition, text to speech, and so on.
    • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in area of specialty.
    • Knowledge of other programming languages is a plus.Work Location
      • Position requires 2 days per week minimum at USPS Merrifield, VA location.SalarySalary range: $77-120k.
