Job Description:

.Net Developer Junior

Ability to obtain a clearance (Interim Secret)

Duration: Direct Hire

Pay Rate: $95k

Our Client seeks an experienced .NET Software Engineer for a project with the Department of Homeland Security. The selected candidate will develop enterprise applications and web services based on C# and Microsoft SQL Server and manage agile development using scrum methodologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for the design and integration of new components and large architecture changes

- Manage agile development sprints using scrum methodologies

- Work with clients to elicit, refine, and document requirements

- Reviewing all code commits for proper use of application frameworks, libraries, and programming language tooling

- Configuring and guiding the development team in the use and development of unit tests

- Reviewing all code commits for clean implementation, adherence to coding standard and styles

- Responsible for the overall quality of the delivered code

- Data modeling, process modeling, and rapid prototyping

- Develop/maintain .NET code related to the various applications existing in the environment.

- Plan, prioritize, and execute in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment;

- Use version management and issue tracking software to document all changes.

- Export and manipulate large data sets from various sensors.

REQUIRED:

- Bachelors Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or statistics, Masters degree prefered.

- 2-5 years proven web development experience with C# .NET

- Understanding and experience with Object Oriented software development

- Experience with Web Services and XML

- Experience with Javascript and AJAX

- Application architecture experience

- Strong knowledge and comprehension of .NET best practices, frameworks, and libraries

- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills;

- Strong leadership, verbal and written communication skills;

- U.S. Citizenship Required

- Ability to obtain a security clearance

DESIRED:

- Leadership and client management ability.

- Prior experience with Spring .NET (or any other dependency injection and AOP framework experience), NHibernate (or any other Object Relational Mapping framework experience) and JQuery

- Certified Scrum Master or professional experience working in agile and scrum processes

- Business process analysis, mapping, and design

- Project management understanding

- Consulting experience

- Knowledge of mobile application development
